And folks are brewing about Drake not necessarily penning all his songs like he claims he does. Apparently another writer–Kia Shine–on “Best I Ever Had” just won a BMI
award for that track being #1 for several weeks:
UPDATE: Byron Wright (in the pic above with Kia Shine) tells The YBF that Kia Shine is not a “ghost writer” for Drake. He won awards for the “Best I Ever Had” record because there was a sample in “Best I Ever Had” of another record Kia Shine and Lil Wayne wrote on. Kia did help to co-write “Best I Ever Had” though…
